Currently we have 9 gifts that haven't been turned in yet.  Some of them have asked for extensions and reassured me they will finish, but some of them have yet to check in with me regarding their lateness, so I suspect a few of them will go unfinished.  

For the sake of those receiving gifts, I am currently looking for volunteers to help take on the roles of surrogate gift giver.  

final extension for late gifts is Sunday the 13th.  All participants that have not submitted gifts by then will be excluded from future participation unless a valid honest and excusable reason is given in notes.  Late artists message me as soon as your gift is done.

Volunteers: For anyone willing to cover gifts for those that haven't received them please note me stating so with the title "volunteer"  You will be added to a list of people who will be assigned tardy gifts on Monday the 14th.  Please if you volunteer take the role seriously, or some good little children will be left without their presents.  Lets make this a good and bright new year for them.

As the invites have been sent out and enough people have responded I've decided its as good a time as any to start getting in those Wish List Journals.


Things you should know:  

-Not everyone is amazing at drawing boys, not everyone is amazing at drawing girls.  So please, when possible, include both a boy and girl option in your wish list.

-When making your requests provide links even if  you are requesting fanart.  "I'd like you to draw Ichigo from bleach here is an example: [link] " for example.

-Try to have a few options on your wish list.  It leaves more room to inspire your exchange partner and we all know inspiration is a key element in making something beautiful!!  Also if you have an original character, feel free to say a little about the character.

-shounen ai/shoujo ai : remember not everyone is comfortable drawing this.  Its okay to request it but if you do make sure you have other choices too.  No adult material will be accepted in this exchange.  

-Please don't request only couples.  There has been an issue with this in the past.  Make sure you have characters that can also be drawn alone.

Any other questions feel free to ask.  Here is an example of a wish list Journal.  Most of you can probably skip this but anyone who isn't sure is free to look it over for ideas.
